Microsoft Project is a very powerful project management tool, and a great help to any project manager. Yet many users remain unaware of all its features because the software is quite complex. Learn how to use Microsoft Project to plan and control your projects with an instructor led Microsoft Project training course at your own workplace.
We offer a range of Project training courses covering ability levels from beginner to advanced, and you can tailor training courses to your exact requirements if you prefer.
Standard Project Training Courses
Our standard Microsoft Project training courses cover the topics typically required at each level. Click on the course titles below to see a detailed overview of each course.
At the end of the course, delegates should be able to create a basic project schedule of tasks. Please note, this is not a course designed for newcomers to computing so delegates must be familiar with using Windows based products. The following gives a brief overview of the course content. This is only a suggestion and may be tailored to suit your requirements.
At the end of the course, delegates will be able to create a pool of resources and assign tasks to resources, set up a baseline, add actuals, monitor the project schedule, enter project costs, display the critical path and print reports.
At the end of the course delegates should be able to customise project fields, work with multiple projects and shared resource pools. They should also be able to record and run macros. Please note that delegates must be able to create a task and resource schedule prior to attending this course.
Tailored Project Training Courses
If none of our standard Microsoft Project training courses are right for you, tell us what you're looking for, and we'll put the ideal course together for you. If you just want to mix modules from our standard courses, there's no extra charge!
Training Material
An electronic copy of the training manual is included in the price of the training. This may be distributed to all delegates attending the course, and provides a useful source of reference that can be referred back to at a later time.
Training Venues
We come to you! You'll need to provide enough computers with Microsoft Project installed for the number of delegates to be trained, and preferably a dedicated room for the training.
Alternatively, we can arrange a nearby training venue and the necessary equipment at additional cost.
Cost
Please see our Prices Page for details of how much our Microsoft Project training costs.
