Microsoft Excel Training: Macros & Basic VBA

Description

At the end of this course delegates should feel confident in creating Excel Macros and then editing and enhancing them with VBA.

Pre-Requisites

Delegates should be regular users of Excel and be confident in creating and editing basic spreadsheets, with some knowledge of Excel's built in features and functions.

Creating & Editing Macros with VBA

  • Create and use a user-defined function
  • Auto-executable macros

Objects & Dialog Boxes

  • Introduction to objects

  • Using the object browser and searching it
  • Built-in dialog boxes

Introduction to Controls

  • Worksheet controls

Selected VBA Procedures

  • If...then...else (conditional control structure)

Format

This course is instructor led in a classroom environment. We recommend a maximum of 8 delegates per course to ensure that all delegates gain the maximum benefit from the course.

Duration

This is a one day course. Standard hours are 9:30 to 16:30, with a one hour lunch break, and short breaks mid morning and mid afternoon. It may be possible to change this arrangement by request.
